Why Anjung Code

What You Get That You Won't Find Everywhere

Paced programmes, qualified instructors, small cohorts, and feedback that is specific to your work — not a template.

Overview

Six Reasons Learners Choose Anjung Code

Qualified Instructors

Our instructors have practical experience in the fields they teach — not just academic familiarity. They write the feedback you receive.

Deliberate Pacing

Each topic is introduced with enough room to settle before the next one arrives. The gallery metaphor is not decorative — it shapes how we sequence ideas.

Small Cohorts by Design

We limit cohort sizes so instructors can respond to individuals, not just the average learner. Your questions are heard, not lost in a crowd.

Real Projects

Every track ends with a project you built from the ground up. These are not exercises — they are things you can show, explain, and build on.

Malaysia-Based Operations

Support happens in your time zone. Sessions are timed for Malaysian evenings and weekends. Pricing is in ringgit.

Lasting Access

Deep Learning Gallery participants keep access to all materials after their cohort ends, alongside a quiet alumni space for ongoing questions.

Expertise

Instructors Who Work in the Field

The people who teach at Anjung Code have built models, wrangled real datasets, and shipped software in production. When they review your project, they notice what matters — not just whether the syntax runs.

This means feedback is grounded in how things actually work outside the classroom. It also means instructors can answer questions that go beyond the notes.

What this looks like in practice

Written project feedback specific to your submission
Live sessions where instructors answer from experience
Curriculum built from real ML workflows, not just theory
Honest guidance on what to study next after each track

Tools and methods used

Python, NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch
Jupyter notebooks and cloud computing environments
Version-controlled project repositories
Current best-practice deployment patterns

Technology

Current Tools, Practical Methods

We teach the tools that working ML engineers actually use — not simplified stand-ins. The Deep Learning Gallery introduces PyTorch and covers deployment so learners finish with skills that transfer directly to real work.

Each programme is updated before new cohorts begin to reflect changes in the field. We remove things that have aged and add what has become standard.

Support

Questions Are Welcome at Every Stage

AI Foundations includes a weekly live clinic specifically for questions. There is no such thing as a question that is too basic — the clinic is designed to catch the things the notes did not fully address.

Machine Learning and Deep Learning cohorts have access to a peer channel and scheduled office hours throughout their programme. Questions posted there receive responses from instructors, not just other learners.

Support channels available

Weekly live question clinic (AI Foundations)
Office hours with instructors (ML and DL tracks)
Peer channel moderated by instructors
Email enquiries answered within 2 business days

What the fee includes

All programme materials and session recordings
Personal project feedback from instructors
Access to cohort peer channel
Certificate of completion (where applicable)

Value

Transparent Pricing, No Hidden Additions

Our fees cover everything in the programme — there are no add-ons required to access feedback or support. AI Foundations is RM 990, the Machine Learning Track is RM 1,410, and the Deep Learning Gallery is RM 1,840.

These reflect the cost of small cohorts and personal instruction. We do not offer large-batch pricing because large batches change what we can offer.

Outcomes

What Learners Finish With

Each programme ends with something tangible. AI Foundations learners finish with a small working project and a clearer understanding of where to go next. Machine Learning Track participants complete two full projects with documented feedback. Deep Learning Gallery participants build and deploy a capstone application.

We measure our success by whether learners can explain and extend what they built — not just whether they completed the track.

What you leave with

A project you built and can walk through
Written feedback specific to your work
A clear sense of what to study next
Certificate of completion for your track

Comparison

How Anjung Code Compares

We are not the only option for learning machine learning online. Here is how our approach differs from the more typical alternatives.

Feature Typical online course Anjung Code
Cohort size Open enrolment, hundreds of learners 8–15 per cohort
Project feedback Automated or peer-only Written by instructors
Live question support Forum posts, variable response time Scheduled clinics and office hours
Pricing currency USD, variable exchange costs Malaysian Ringgit (RM)
Schedule timezone Global, often inconvenient locally Malaysian time (MYT)
Curriculum updates Infrequent, static Reviewed before each cohort
Programme pace Self-directed with no structure Structured and deliberately paced

What Sets Us Apart

Distinctive Features of the Gallery

The Gallery Approach to Sequencing

Ideas are introduced one at a time with room to breathe. We deliberately avoid the "information flooding" approach that typifies many bootcamp-style programmes.

Instructor-Written Feedback Only

No rubric-generated scores, no peer-review workarounds. Every project that goes through our tracks comes back with comments written by someone who studied your specific work.

A Natural Three-Track Progression

The three programmes form a coherent path from newcomer to deep learning developer. Each track prepares you for the next without overlap or gaps — so moving between them is smooth, not jarring.

Alumni Space for Deep Learning Graduates

Deep Learning Gallery participants gain access to a quiet alumni channel after their cohort ends — a place to share resources and keep learning alongside others who have been through the same material.
